About THE APARTMENT
At 50 m², the apartment has a bright living area with a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen, a large smart TV, a desk space, two proper bedrooms, a bathroom with washing machine and toilet, and plenty of storage including a ski locker on the landing.
The main bedroom has a 140 x 190 double bed, storage and USB sockets. The children's room has two 90 x 200 bunk beds, a child's desk, games and books. Adults are welcome in there too, as long as they do not break the toys.
Once you have settled in, forget the car: everything is within walking distance.

Here you are staying with Marie and her family. Le Simone is above all our family base in the mountains: a place for reunions, skiing in winter, hiking in summer and simple moments together. We wanted to create a cosy, comfortable and practical apartment, so that every stay means relaxation.

Check-in is from 17:00 and check-out before 10:00. Access is independent: you receive the instructions before you arrive.
Are pets allowed?
We love animals, but they cannot be accommodated in the property.
What is added to the price of the stay?
Mandatory extras on top of the stay: end of stay cleaning: €55. The tourist tax comes on top. We simply ask you to leave the place tidy, the dishes done and the bins emptied.
Is there a security deposit?
A deposit of €300 applies. It is not charged: your card is stored securely and will only be debited if damage is found.
How much does a week cost?
From €80 to €180 per night depending on the season, so from €560 for seven nights, plus €55 in mandatory extras (end of stay cleaning) and the tourist tax. The calendar on this site shows the exact price for your dates, with no added commission.
Is there a minimum number of nights?
The minimum stay is 2 nights. In high season, bookings are usually by the week.
Is there wifi, and can you work remotely?
Yes. Wifi is free and covers the property, and there is a desk corner for anyone who needs to work for a few hours.
Where can you park?
Villard-de-Lans has plenty of free public car parks right next to the apartment.
Is the property suitable for families with young children?
Yes. We provide travel cot, high chair, games and books, child’s desk. So there is no need to fill the car with baby equipment.
How do payment and cancellation work?

How do you get there, and do you need a car?
The nearest station is Grenoble, with coaches serving Villard-de-Lans. A car is advisable, particularly in winter.
What is the best time of year to come?
Winter for skiing, with the slopes and the ice rink minutes away. Summer for hiking and cycling on the Vercors plateau, when it is ten degrees cooler than down in the valley. The village lives all year round; this is not a resort that shuts out of season.

Are the shops and the slopes within walking distance?
The shops are a one minute walk away, so once you have settled in you can forget the car. The ski slopes (Balcon de Villard, Côte 2000) are higher up, above the village: free shuttle buses leave from the bus station in the village centre for Balcon de Villard-Côte 2000 and Les Glovettes. Timetables are posted at the tourist office. For the car, Villard-de-Lans has plenty of free public parking; our tip: the car park at passage des Bessonnets, except on Sundays, when the market is on.
